Meet Samantha Johnson – The owner & Portland Local

Essential Cleaners was founded by Samantha Johnson, a Portland resident with a passion for healthier, non-toxic cleaning solutions. With years of experience in commercial restoration and construction, she saw firsthand how frequently harsh chemicals were used in everyday cleaning. Determined to create a safer alternative, she launched Essential Cleaners in 2020, bringing eco-friendly, effective cleaning services to homes and businesses across the Portland area.

As a proud member of the Portland community, Samantha is dedicated to making a positive impact—both through her company’s commitment to non-toxic cleaning and through Cleaning For a Reason, a nonprofit that provides free cleaning services to cancer patients.

When she’s not leading her team, Samantha enjoys exploring the city’s vibrant neighborhoods, supporting local businesses, and embracing the outdoors—because a cleaner home starts with a cleaner world.

Dirt has built up everywhere and will require scraping, scrubbing, etc. A 1 is so clean you could eat off the floors!
